Membership
The Door’s membership process is easy—there is no fee to join, there are no document requirements, and language isn't a barrier to becoming a member. You’ll have access to everything you need. If you are between the ages of 12 and 24, you can become a member of The Door. Come join us today and discover a whole new world of opportunity! For information about becoming a member and getting connected to any of The Door’s services, fill out the form below. Virtual intake sessions can be scheduled if needed. Please note: Some programs may have specific requirements (e.g., age, language, or other eligibility criteria).
You can also drop by in person at the Membership office of our Manhattan Youth Center at 555 Broome Street. Membership Drop-in Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–5:30pm (with additional hours between 10:00am–2:00pm for urgent situations and for young people who are unstably housed).

How to Join
Becoming a member is quick and easy–follow the steps below and you’ll be a part of The Door in no time.
Step 1: Check Eligibility
In order to be a member at The Door, you must be:
between the ages of 12–24 (please check if the program you’re interested in has a specific age requirement)
located in New York
Step 2: Schedule a Membership Intake Session
Fill out the membership interest form below to tell us a little bit about yourself, what programs and services you're interested in, and our staff will get back to you to schedule an intake session.
Step 3: Meet Us for a Membership Intake Session
Meet with our membership staff in-person or virtually (your choice), and we’ll connect you with The Door programs that are right for you.
