About the Event
Taste of Community features unlimited food tastings, craft cocktails, local beers, and fine wines for guests to enjoy. Guests will also get to meet the chefs of today and tomorrow, as The Door showcases the incredible young people who are part of our vibrant culinary program, The CUT.

About The Door
The Door is an unparalleled model for youth development, offering a comprehensive range of integrated services for up to 11,000 New York City youth annually across our four New York City locations: our lower Manhattan and South Bronx youth centers and two supportive housing sites on the Lower East Side. At The Door, youth can access health care and education, mental health counseling and crisis assistance, legal assistance, high school equivalency and college preparation services, career development, housing supports, arts, recreational activities, and nutritious meals.

VIP access begins at 5:30 PM, with tickets starting at $250. As a VIP guest, you'll enjoy exclusive early entry to the event—one full hour before general admission—giving you first access to all the flavors, fun, and festivities. Indulge in a curated wine tasting courtesy of Bisou Wine Bar, and take home a Door gift bag filled with custom swag and artisanal spices from Chef Will Coleman. Every ticket purchased helps fund The Door’s transformative programs for NYC youth, making your night out even more meaningful.
