Non-profit Emma's Torch provides refugees with culinary training and also is home to a beloved local cafe in Carroll Gardens in Brooklyn.
BUILDING CLOSURE: The Door's Manhattan Youth Center and Bronx Youth Centers will be closed on Thursday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. Regular hours will resume on Friday, June 20.
