Alex-Ann Espeut oversees Career and Education Services at The Door's Manhattan and Bronx Youth Centers. Alex started her Door journey in September 2021, serving as Assistant Director, Education and Career Pathways, and was quickly promoted to Director, Career Services, before becoming Managing Director, Career and Education Services. Alex came to The Door from Job Corps, where she oversaw NYC Job Corps Center's Career and Education portfolio at both the South Bronx and Brooklyn sites. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Alex understands the role that opportunities given to those from humble beginnings play in breaking the cycle of generational poverty, breaking down barriers, and leading successful lives!
