Dana Friedman
Vice President of Advancement and External Engagement
Dana Friedman oversees The Door’s entire portfolio of private foundation and government support, totaling approximately $25 million in annual funding. Working closely with her Individual Giving counterpart, Dana co-manages the Development Department, leading all fundraising efforts across The Door and Broome Street Academy, including driving fundraising strategy and maintaining strong funder relationships.
Dana has spent her career in development and previously led the institutional fundraising efforts at Educational Alliance and the Lower East Side Tenement Museum. She has a deep commitment to The Door’s mission and is honored to support its work. Dana holds a BA in Sociology from Simmons College.
