The Door Expands “Here to Stay!” Public Information Campaign to Arabic, Hindi & Chinese

In 2021, The Door’s Legal Services Center in partnership with the Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP) and designer Grace Han created a public information campaign seeking to expand young immigrants’ access to legal representation and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS). The campaign was displayed on LinkNYC screens throughout the five boroughs thanks to support from the NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs. It included printed pamphlets, fold-out posters, and social media resources connecting youth to legal services organizations in French, Spanish, English.

Recently, The Door and CUP expanded the campaign to include resources in Arabic, Hindi and Chinese (Simplified) that are displayed in bus shelter posters across NYC to further raise awareness for immigration resources that exists for young people.
