Taste of Community

We gathered with friends and supporters for Taste of Community: A Culinary Experience at The Door. We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us for such a magical evening!

We were thrilled to have so many people explore our space and enjoy delicious tastings from our restaurant partners, including our Culinary Arts Training interns.

We're also pleased that attendees were able to hear the live music by youth artist Elle Prado, experience firsthand the welcoming community The Door is known for, and visit a pop-up market of ceramic and crochet works by Door youth artists and took home a piece of their creativity.

For some, Taste of Community may have been the first time visiting our vibrant space, and you may not have had a chance during your visit to see the video playing in the recording studio on the second floor. The proceeds your generosity raised will provide critical funding for The Door’s free, comprehensive youth services.
