BUILDING CLOSURE: The Door's Manhattan Youth Center and Manhattan Drop-In Center will be closed on Friday, April 18. The Bronx Drop-In Center will remain open on Friday and throughout the weekend. Regular hours will resume on Monday, April 21.

NYC Health Department to host Citywide World AIDS Day 2024 Commemoration

Community leaders, advocates, and people with HIV to join Acting Commissioner Morse for the first in-community commemoration since 2019

NEW YORK – On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the NYC Health Department and the New York City World AIDS Day 2024 Planning Committee will host a World AIDS 2024 citywide commemoration. With the theme “We Are Stronger Together: Ending the Epidemic by Fighting Stigma, Building Community, and Empowering the Next Generation,” the event will feature an overview of 2023 HIV surveillance data for New York City, remarks from Acting Commissioner Michelle Morse and community partners, and live performances. The NYC Health Department will also honor World AIDS Day 2024 awardees during the event.
