For more than 50 years, The Door has evolved alongside the city and the young people we serve – always listening, always learning, and always evolving. So today, we’re excited to share a new chapter in that journey: The Door has a brand-new look.
You’ll notice our new logo, a refreshed color palette, and maybe the biggest shift of all—our new tagline: Where Young People Thrive.
This refresh is more than a design update. It’s a strategic step forward, bringing our outward identity into stronger alignment with who we are today and where we’re headed next.
This isn’t just a design update. It’s a reflection of who we are now and the bold direction we’re heading. We worked with 75+ members of our community – young people, partners, staff, supporters, and friends of The Door – to figure out how to make sure our brand reflected the energy, resilience, and brilliance of the young people we work with – and to make sure that anyone discovering us for the first time understands right away what The Door is all about.
Why the Update?
Over the past several months, we’ve been asking big questions about how The Door shows up in the world, and how we can make our story clearer, bolder, and welcoming to those who haven’t met us yet.
We gathered insights from more than 75 people across our community – young people, partners, staff, supporters, and friends of The Door – to figure out how to make sure our brand reflected the energy, resilience, and brilliance of the young people we work with – and to make sure that anyone discovering us for the first time understands right away what The Door is all about.
What Stays the Same?
Our purpose, our people, and our commitment to young people remain as strong as ever. We’re still youth-powered, still community-first, and still showing up every day with joy, equity, and belonging at the center of our work.
This brand refresh simply gives us stronger tools – and a clearer voice – to tell the story that all of you help write every day.
