The Door's College Advisement program is available to students in several languages and includes Talent Search, a joint Door/University Settlement initiative.
The Talent Search Program helps under-represented youth to successfully complete high school and gain entrance into post-secondary schools. We offer advisement and resources in college awareness, the college search, financial aid and applications, and transitioning from high school to college. The program services include individual consultation, college preparation workshops, college visits, a college fair, financial aid workshops, and a resource library. Students are able to enter the program at any point in the year, but they must attend an orientation and submit a preliminary application in order to participate.
Please contact Greg Morris, Education Supervisor, at (212) 941-9090 ext. 3295 or greg@door.org.
