Alex–Ann Espeut
Managing Director, Bronx Youth Center
Alex-Ann Espeut oversees programming at The Door's Bronx Youth Center (BYC). Alex started her Door journey in September 2021, serving as the Assistant Director of Education and Career Pathways and was quickly promoted to the Director of Career Services before becoming the BYC’s Managing Director. Alex came to The Door from Job Corps, where she oversaw NYC Job Corps Center's Career and Education portfolio at both the South Bronx and Brooklyn sites. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Alex understands the role that opportunities given to those from humble beginnings play in breaking the cycle of generational poverty, breaking down barriers, and leading successful lives!
