Barbara Clapp

Barbara Clapp works to connect The Door and Broome Street Academy (BSA) with friends and donors who are interested in supporting New York City youth and the missions of The Door and BSA. Barbara and the rest of the Development team are especially focused on growing the base of support to enable these institutions to creatively and sustainably move forward. Prior to joining The Door in 2019, Barbara worked in higher education fundraising for 25 years. Having raised two kids in NYC and marrying a native New Yorker, she is proud to call NYC home and feels very honored to work for a non-profit that plays such an integral part in the life of the city, past, present, and future.
